It's the first day of early goose season. The neighbor's grand daughter and her husband stopped and talked to the wife the other day and asked if they could hunt the oat stubble. She told them go ahead, but it was seeded to alfalfa,so park in the driveway and DON'T drive in the field. I was just coming home for dinner with the tractor and rake from raking hay up north of there and what do I see? One pickup sitting on top of the hill back toward the back of the field and another one driving right out across it. I headed right out after them in road gear. I don't know if he'd ever heard rumors about my temper or not,but he sure got a face full of it. He was man enough to come and apologize anyway. I told him to go ahead and go back, but he'd better park by the road. Maybe he got the message this time. Thing is,the grand daughter wasn't even there. Just the husband and somebody else.
