have a new to us 20 acre patch we want to row crop next year. has a couple fences in it that have overgrown plumb thickets. grass at this time but want to remove plumb thickets. don't have a backhoe and not worth 150.00 an hour to hire someone to come in. has anyone removed these and what did you use? was thinking of just plowing but not sure how strong the roots are. then thought about finding a one or two shank ripper.
