Do you remember when the first TWO showed up at the pond... and I warned ya that you'd end up with this?
These pics are of geese in Rochester, MN (I used to live there in a life of long ago and far away).
A whole darn "herd" of 'em... supposedly begat by a pair of Canadian Honkers that were "gifted" to the city. Nice gift, huh? In more recent years, the city has taken steps to discourage them from inhabiting Silver Lake Park... which the locals long referred to as Goose Poo p Park (for obvious reasons).
Well, here's my second and final warning: DO NOT put a tank-heater in the pond... OR you'll end up with this in winter! LOL
I believe it is the city's power plant that discharges warm water into the little lake and it keeps it from freezing over. So these darn critters never leave.
