I have talked with a couple of people who do or have done this. Both parties said they dealt with a "dealer" in europe and bought the tractors with ALL shipping included to their dock.
There are a number of hoops to jump through and it is best to get involved with someone who has done this shipping to your country of residence. I do know if it is going through Minneapolis MN you will run across a customs Ag agent that will look for any reason to detain your shipment.
Trust me I have lived that nightmare. My experience was with India and the tractor came with a load of household goods. Took us a month to get things sorted and had to get a senators office involved to get the shipment released. Keep in mind that month also involved rental fees on the container and the trailer it was sitting on, ie about $5000 extra.
The person I talked with who had doorstep to doorstep said any of this stuff was the shippers problem, I think they kept him appraised as to how things were going but his main responsibility was to get the container unloaded in under a hour or two.
