A couple of years ago I filled up the tank at a KwikTrip, put it on Discover and left. When I got home I looked at the receipt and realized I had paid for someone else's gas. The clerk had entered the wrong pump and, like a dummy, I hadn't paid any attention because I was in a hurry to get home 140 miles away. The difference was about $12 or $15. I was disgusted with myself but wrote it off as my own fault. But when I got my Discover bill (which I pay in full every month), I noticed that KwikTrip had somehow caught the error and credited me for the overpayment. I appreciated that service.
