Reminded me of a Business Communications class in college. For our first homework assignment, we were to write a letter about something or other. When the prof graded the papers, he used a highlighter on everything that was irrelevant and redundant. Most of the papers were half highlighted.
BTW, I tried for the entire semester to get a rise out of the prof. In the process of writing one paper, I created a used car lot named "Ben Dover Auto Sales". For another assignment, we had to write a fictitious letter to the governor of Vermont, and we could use any name we wanted for the governor. I used the name, "Adolph Goldberg".
Either the prof chose to ignore me, or it all went over his head.
