There are two speed adjust knobs for the reel. One is by the auto-manual select switch the other is located under the arm rest on my 2366. Can't remember where they put it of the 1660.Maybe under the fuse cover?
One is to set the speed weather in manual or auto.
The other calibrates the speed of the reel to ground speed.
They both have to be turned up from stop some for the reel to turn.
Also make sure you don't have a couple of hoses crossed at the feeder house. Been there done that.
