A weak coil or a bad condenser are two elements. An other can be a high resistance primary circuit. From the key to the coil to the points, a weak connection, or bad connection in the key, can cause it. Jumping from the battery hot post to the coil input side, to see if a hot wire can eliminate the problem. If the points and condenser are good, and while cranking it has a spark that jumps 1/4 inch nice and blue, it is not the ignition. Jim
