I pulled a man back on the road a good many years ago. He was maybe 20 feet off the pavement in a almost new car. Mired up,pretty deep so I couldn't look under the car to find a hook point. I raised the hood and looked and found the front of the frame. I gave the man a long nylon tow rope and told him he had to hook his end. When I turned my truck around and went back to him, he had run the rope over the top of the grill and radiated and was fixing to try to hook up. I told him he had to reach underneath and run the rope that way. He fumbled a few minutes and told me he didn't know how to tie a knot. I tied it and got him out and never saw him again. Be careful now, lawyers everywhere trying to make a living.
