Basically it all depends on the machine. I picked up a few STRAIGHT tractors that have been well taken car of. Those you would like to leave alone.. Then I've bought a few that need sheet metal replaced, because of RUST or better sheet metal installed. Those end up looking like a spotted adder if you don't tear them down & do it right. To me a old machine that is smashed up from one end to the other needs something done to them. Even if it gets only one ding per year, for some of these that's 75 dents. Where to start & where to quit, but a Great straight Original Tractor will ALWAYS catch my eye....
