Got this L110 John Deere with a Kohler that doesnt havea valve cover gasket of any type. Youre simply suppose to use RTV on the cover. However, since my brother bought this thing, it has always leaked oil there, onto the muffler and smokes like a freight train when it runs. I now have this mower, and I have "re-gooed" this thing several times, and it always seems to start back leaking after a few hours of running. Anybody by chance made a gasket for one like that, and did it stop the leaking?
