Been buying for many years with only a few problems.
Most problems come from low FB sellers.
I buy a lot of chainsaws and such, and if I see a bargain I ALWAYS check the sellers FB rating. I look at the Negatives and Neutrals and see if seller responded.
Red flag jumps up for a seller that is new or has a negative with only selling less the 100 items.
It is also Important to check past FB because after a year, sellers are apparently forgiven for there less then positive FB.
At least, they are not shown on the current page.
Also, I never leave FB for a seller before they leave FB for me.
I have bought over 300 items, and 90% are bought Buy It Now or Best Offer and have only left two Neutral FBs.
I don't get into bidding wars that way.
I have never sold on eBay--too many rules I don't like.
