My Expedition takes 16 or 17. Right now it has 17 and the speedo says 50 and ground speed is 48 or 49mph. Very easy to check. Go on the turnpike or a really good federal hiway with mile markers. Run fir about ten miles and that will show you how acurate the odometer is. The other thing is set the cruise control at say...60 and use a stop watch every complete mile. Divine that number into 3600 and it gives you how fast you are really going. One time grammer school math actually works!
