Don , I really hate to see this happening to your folks and you. I have always read your post with great interest , and thought you seemed like a hard working guy , who I am sure would love to be home on the farm with your dad milking cows. I know how you and your folks must feel , as I have friends that are going through the same thing right now too. Just seems wrong that milk prices can be kept so that only the processor and the retailer are the only ones making any profit from milk , and the farmers are expected to work for nothing, or razor thin profit margins . I don't see how anyone can keep milking cows at $16-$17 per hundred. I hope you folks have a nice day for your sale , and get good prices for your listed sale items. Maybe some day , before it is too late , the world will wake up , and realize what a truly valuable resource they are loosing, the farmer .
