I buy my eggs from a local farmer 2.50 a doz
1 I support him and his family 2 I know they are fresh as they are usually processing that mornings gather 3 I know the chickens are free range giving eggs a muck better taste 4 A the local stores eggs start at 3.50 a doz that are probably a week old before they get them
I also buy beef (5.69 lb), pork (3.89 lb) and chicken (6.00 ea) from a local that only buys from the local farmers direct for the same reasons
when in season we also buy as much from locals we can and freeze or can as much as possible we do have a small garden but not much from it
about all we buy from any grocery store is coffee, milk (4.89 4l or 1 us gal roughly) and butter (6.50 lb) they aren't making much off us
I'm sure the local farmers aren't making a lot off us either but at least they know we support them
I wish we could get anywhere near your prices on food staples, most groceries are about 50 - 60% more with a cple weekly exceptions on most items

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
