I am a small operator, mostly hay and mowing. I have 2 medium (40 & 50 HP) old gas tractors and 1 newer diesel 85 HP tractor. The diesel pretty much sits all winter while the old gassers get daily use.
I don't think I could find the difference in fuel costs in a year the way I farm.
