My mother's side of the family originally was from the Wabasha/Red Wing area. Most of the farm has been sold off, but I am told that some extended family do still own portions of the farm.
Dad's side originated in Barrett, MN where they also farmed (Christopherson side). Been trying to scrounge up pictures of his side as well, but it is proving to be difficult. They grew up quite poor, but worked every day as hard and as long as they could. Had to in order to eat in those days!
