I would assume the transmission is at the end of its useful life. Deduct that from the purchase price. We have a 2000 2500 with the 6.0 and 195k miles. The transmission went out on it yesterday. The rust on it has been fixed once and it doesn't have any rockers left again. What do you do? I can't buy another one and too cheap and know it's history and the engine in this one doesn't use a drop of oil. I guess I'll put a transmission in it.
