That does seam a bit high dollar wise. I got a 2004 6.0 Chevy one ton with a 5 speed with 190,000 runs great, just changed the factory spark plugs, burns a half a quart of oil every 5,000 miles, original cold air conditioner still works good and I'm in Texas. Also gotta 2004 chevy 2500 6.0 gas, automatic, it is pushing 250,000 miles, super clean good running motor that has a slight tick? but burns very little oil, this truck came with a factory trans cooler on it. Also got a 1996 Dodge 3500 cummins, 5 speed standard with 250,000 miles, when I really gotta pull something heavy. None of these trucks have ever had any significant motor or trans work done. All three cost about the same to run per mile, there's not a whole lot of difference. And all paid for at least once. No Fords here.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
