I've always been a Cardinals fan but I'm also a National League fan so I'm supporting the Cubbies. It looks like it may be a long shot now. I've always liked listening to games on the radio more that watching them on TV. Harry Carry and Jack Buck were my favorite. I never got to listen much to George Kell but I knew him and his family, My uncle played ball with him before he went to the majors.
Harry was the most colorful, one of his famous lines that was seldom repeated, "folks we have a newlywed couple here tonight. He kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls."

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
