My grandpa went and looked at that truck last evening for me. I think I'm going to look at it today. He said he had no idea of the miles until the guy told him how many it had. ( I purposely didn't tell grandpa)
I have a feeling it will nickle and dime me.... but I have this theory that if I have to work on something it might as well be a clean rust free truck ( for now at least ).
I can no where near afford a "new" truck to use as a farm truck. My old farm truck had 180k when it was done and I had replaced everything on it several times. I would much rather replace a water pump or alternator they the brake lines or fuel lines.
Everything around here is priced as follows. All short bed ext cabs. 2003-2007 2500HD 100-150k nice 12-16k if really nice 15k+++ 100-150k work truck with rust typically white with no options 4-6k 75-150k decent truck little rust starting here and there 10-14k
Everything around here under 100k miles has sat around in someones driveway and looks like it lived in a salt mine.
Punch in Zip code 44805 and see what is out there NOTHING !!!!

As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
