The last time I actually went to a professional baseball game, was when my wife was 9 months pregnant with my daughter, who is now 22. We had actually included a co-worker of mine, so my co-worker, my wife and myself actually all sat together. Being about as big as a blimp (pardon the pun), she had to go to the restroom about once every inning. Toward the end of the game, she got up to hit the restroom and asked if we needed anything. We told her that she could get us a couple of large beers. My wife was not drinking, of course. After using the restroom, she went to the concession stand to buy two large beers. We all got a huge laugh out of all this, because the lady behind the concession stand gave my wife a wrinkled-up stare as my wife ordered two large beers. As my very-much-pregnant wife was walking back to us, carrying two large beers, everybody who looked at her had a look on their face of sheer disgust. We laugh about it to this day. I have no desire to ever see a pro game in person again, but I will check the scores or possibly watch one on TV. One pro sport that I absolutely can't stand is basketball. How can anybody pay good money to see that?

This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
