I would not even attempt it, no seat with a belt or R.O.P.S. on that tractor. Rock especially, that is meant for a crawler or a much bigger tractor if its layered and you can get through it. I'm biased as I have ripped quite a bit of shale, rock and frost with D8K's and 4 BBL (4 hydraulic cylinders). I've got a 3 point subsoiler and a 60 HP tractor with front axle drive and I'd be cautious attempting it with that as well, much rather have a crawler for any kind of rock.
I'm not saying its not possible with an 8N, thin layer and its soft, but with the gearing of one of those (no real low gears) and the fact that you could hook onto something solid and have that front end come up, just not worth the risk. I have lost a cousin to a mishap with an 8N, trust me it happens and very quickly.
