Bet 1/3 of the corn fields between me and Mankato are still out there untouched. Been a heck of a year.
I had the combine spin twice so far this year but nothing too bad. We have had nice falls the past 5 plus years, so hadn't dealt with mud with the hydro combines that was interesting.
Unfortunately I had to choose, go after the 30 acres of very wet field of corn or the soybeans the last dry spell. I got the corn, but now I have beans left in this constant rain fall. Well the corn field has ponds in it again so I rhink I did right, but it's tough to look at the bean field with this constant grey and wet and it's getting mighty late........
Had to unhook full wagons twice, they sunk a bit and tractor spin. Both times quit in time and got a bigger tractor, not much issues.
Guess that $75 grand in tile the past few years is paying off. Still a wet mess this year tho.
