Sounds like they can be used the same as potatoes in most ways. Mom And Dad both liked them only boiled so that is the only way she would fix them. I lived with them untill I got married 39 years ago and my Late Wife did not like them that way either but she had never had them so knew of no other way to prepair them. I as of the present would not even know where to look to get any so it was just a question if they could be fixed any other way.
