Thanks X-Y for that comment. You just reminded me of something I had forgotten; double clutching. My 2400 isn't synchromesh geared and under certain conditions I can get a tad of crunching if too slow on the stick. Next time I'm too lazy to cut the throttle B4 shifting I'll just double clutch her and be on my way.
