Well stated... That hybrid of electoral college and popular vote would bring us closer to the true feelings of the majority of Americans while still maintaining the fairness of the EC system. As stated, it would force the candidates to devote their efforts to more of the country and it would help to eliminate some of the west coast fallout that occurs every four years...As a resident of NY, like Cali, my vote just gets lost in a foregone conclusion... We will see if it changes 4 years from now...
