Straight Roundup works for me. They never grow again. I use the real stuff, not the watered down version. A 50-50 mix of Roundup and diesel helps hold the Roundup if you are worried about rain diluting it. The other chemicals the guys recommended work too. A neighboring field across the fence from me had big Mulberrys growing through a junk pile. The birds were spreading the seeds in my fence row. I snuck over to the mulberries with a cordless drill and small bit, drilled a few holes in the trees, slanting down and poured straight Roundup in the holes. They mysteriously died and now I don't have volunteer trees in my fence anymore.
