I need a newer tractor with a diff lock. My grandad bought one brand new back in the late 70's. We had it for several years before trading it.
Did great for a 2 row but my grandpa regretted that it did'nt have enough hp for 4 row work.
Diff lock worked very well and the tractor would spin itself out of almost any bog.
Had good speed in most any gear, especially on the road.
Downside was fighting a losing battle against fuel line and tank leaks.
Most agrevation came from waiting on the lift to pick up, was always somewhat slow.
Bush hogging also gave it a fit, slow going!
Overall a pretty decent tractor, but I won't give up my 3020 Jd for one.
Test it out before parting with the $.
