Certainly, you never know what else there may be. I responded to an ad for some ford implements about 7 years ago. This was a very nice elderly gent who like all of us at some point later in life, will need to find a home for things like he was selling.
I bought a single bottom plow from him, however there were 2 other implements available too. One was a N.O.S. ford subsoiler. Got the plow for a $125, subsoiler for another $100. Look a little further and he's got a few older tractors around, besides the more modern shibaura/gray market ford that the implements were for. One of these tractors was a JD LI with a tag and either aftermarket or possibly factory hydraulics. The motor was seized, he wanted $900.00 for it. I just did not have any spare funds. I saw it in the want-ad digest for double that not long after. Heck I was happy just to have bought the 2 implements anyways, but that to date has been my best find.

The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
