There is probably air in the lines. If there is indeed air in the lines you will need to bleed them. If you have a priming handle on your pump or somewhere in your fuel system this will help and I have had luck before by pumping the handle only without doing anything else. If you don't have a priming handle you might let our friend (sometimes enemy) gravity do the job. If your filters don't have a plug on them you can loosen the line and wait until fuel only comes out of the line Do this at both filters. If gravity can't do the job you can try turning the motor over with the plug on the filter out or the lines loose. Sometimes you have to bleed all the way to the injectors and sometimes you can get by with only going to the filters only. Hope this helps and good luck.
