Jon, Thank you for being so caring as to check on the old fella. The same thing happened to my 87 year old mother last summer. She left my house to make the 11 mile drive to her home and in the darkness got confused and made a wrong turn and ended up going the wrong way on the off ramp of James River freeway and I-44. Neither road did she need to be on. When she realized what a mess she was in she just pulled her car into the center median and shut it off. A nice young man stopped to help her and got her car pulled around headed the right way and used her phone to call me. When I got there a very nice Greene Co deputy was telling not to feel bad it happens all the time. She followed me to her home. It shuck her up. She just drives to her little market now and that’s about it. But instead of honking and yelling and flipping her off some very understanding people helped her on her way. The roads are very scary and confusing to older people and it’s nice to know that there are caring concerned people like yourself out there watching over folks in the not so fast lane.

They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
