The other message pretty well sums it up. The "I" in "MI" stands for industrial. Industrial tractors were painted yellow. Most likely, you have an old state used mowing machine. International also produced some industrial tractors. It is possible to run across some of the "W" series IH tractors with an "I" where the "W" should be on the model designation decal. These tractors are also painted yellow.
