3 Point Settling: When I was at the Gathering of the Green a gentlemen pointed out there was a check valve in the final drive area that is generally the culprit. Looking at the Technical Manual it looks like there could be several items that could affect this. I suggest you get the JD Manual I pointed out above. These manuals seems to assume some level of experience with many items. So, once you have studied the manual post again regarding that specific topic to get further help. I have several 3pt hitches that settle but I have not dug into them yet personally. Certainly others have.
PTO Brake: The JD Manual identifies 3 areas to look at, Linkage, PTO Clutch, and the PTO Brake. Again, the manual has information regarding these. The PTO Brake is accessible between the clutch housing and the transmission housing.
