About 14 years ago I went up to Alberta to pick up my first Canuck tractor. I had heard that it must be clean.....on the way up I saw another tractor by the side of the road, so on the way back I pulled in to take a look and immediately started to spin my tires. I just floored it and kept going...made a nice mess! About 5 miles from the border I decided I better stop and see how much mud was on the truck and trailer. I spent close to an hour with a putty knife, probably better than 500# I scraped off. Got to the border will still a lot on where I couldn't reach and they never even said a word about it. :o

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
