: How old does a tractor have to be to call it: 1)"Collectible" or 2) "Antique"?? Help me out folks, I have a 6-pack riding on the concensus answers you post. Ken, In the old car field according to AACA rules, a car, truck, or tractor must be at least 25 years old to be considered an antique. A collectable can be any age if it is a very unusual model or has unusual/special features which may be of interest to a certian group of collectors or enthusiests. These same rules basicly apply in the tractor field. However different individuals have different definitions of antique. To some younger people a late 70's model might be an antique, whereas I would think of a 50's model as an antique and someone else might consider anything after WW2 modern. As far as an official answer there is none so I would suggest staying with the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) definition of over 25 years since they accept cars, trucks and tractors in their membership.
