Well, I guess you can call them darker green, but that is to infer that the JD is still the base for comparison. We prefer to call JD 'faded green'. All kidding aside, both breeds are impressive, but Oliver had a fine tractor that incorperated the best of CO OP, Cockshutt and Minneapolis Moline into it's breeding. They are strong, smooth running and fuel efficient. I have a '54 Super 77 Diesel that is the work horse of my farm. It has done all I asked of it and given no complaints and that is all anyone could ask. If you want to get the blood stirring, become a member of the Hart Parr/Olivers Collectors Association, P.O.Box 685, Charles City, IA 50616.
