I have a '00 V10 F350, 12'deck, automatic 2wd. It's actually pretty good...don't know about 14 mpg but 12, maybe get 14 with the 5 spd and its all about how you drive. If you stomp on it you will pass everything except a gas station. If you keep the rpms constant and don't accelerate like your on the drag strip you will do ok. Other than that they are strong and pull well. Also I believe that engine is one of the early ones with a 2 valve engine, the plugs are not too hard to change compared to the three valve engine which had the spark plugs pop...I could be wrong on this but that is what mine has.
OK price if the deck is good and the tires and brakes are also good.
I wish I had 4WD but surprisingly the truck handles well in the snow and driving in the soft fields all fall I only had to be pushed out once...4WD probably wouldn't have helped me there.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
