Lost my black lab on Wednesday after the 4th of July this year. Had to put him down; sure was hard to do. He got to where he could not get up and stand without help. He went through the past 2 winters by sleeping on the back porch during the coldest nights. We could see this coming a couple of years ago and got a red tri-color Australian Shepherd pup for our granddaughter, who lives with us, for Christmas '14. Very lively, as pups are, but, you know, I believe the pup kept him 'young' a little longer! I thought 2 years ago, at times, I would be surprised if he were still alive the next morning. Sure loved that old dog, and, actually, he belonged to my oldest son. never bothered anyone; may have dug up my wife's flowers trying to find some cool dirt to lay in on a hot summers day! Stick it back in the ground and water it and say, "...I don't know what happened to it;I've been watering it trying to get it perked up!!" She knew what had happened......she loved the old dog as much as I did. Don't we all wish we were as good a person as our dogs thought we were?!?

To the newcomer planning to restore the machine, this means you have everything you need for the moment (something to sit in the shop and just look at for awhile while you read the books). To the newcomer that wants to get out and use the machine for field work, you may have already hit a major roadblock. That is the dreaded "proprietary hitch". With the exception of the
