several years ago I worked for a guy who had a nice Mig welder. I was hesitant at first to use it but when I did all I could say was WOW, it seemed so much easier to use than the stick welder I had. What type helmet do you have? I had an older Spedglas that was self darkening but one shade. I was fine with stick welder but have since purchased a variable shade helmet. I had trouble seeing well on the Mig with the darker shade.
