I have owned some sort of RV for over 40 years. Now we are retired and travel this beautiful country in a fully self contained 29 Ft Class C Motorhome visiting State Parks, National Parks, Bureau of Land Management, National Forest and Army Corps of Engineer Campgrounds when we travel west, plus Florida or Texas for the winter where we exhibit/attend 4 Antique Tractor Shows and 2 or 3 Bluegrass Festivals. When we visit the kids we don't wear out or welcome as fast plus grandkids love campers. WE have our own comfy queen size walk around North/South Island Bed we know who slept in the night before and a clean bath, AC, Microwave, Furnace etc. Since we do a lot of practically free dry camping in the western mountains I equipped the RV with 470 Watts of Rooftop Solar, Four Deep Cycle Golf Cart Batteries (450 Amp Hours), A 2KW Pure Sine Wave Inverter, Smart 3 stage MPPT solar charge controller, Smart 4 stage Battery Charger plus a 4 KW Generator. By adding extra water tanks I can carry 86 Gallons of Fresh water and we can stay out off the grid an entire week before we need to dump and take on water.

Life is good, the RV lifestyle brings us such joy and freedom, is very affordable, we absolutely love it and wouldn't travel or have it any other way.

Glacier Natl Park,,, Old RV and exhibits at Florida Flywheelers and Zolfo Springs ,,,Latest RV

John T One happyyyyyyyyyy camper

Today's Featured Article - A Question for Dads This recent topic from the Tractor Talk discussion board is being highlighted because it is an awesome display of the caliber of individuals that have made this site their own. The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner. ...
