I did have a White 2255, and it was a two wheel drive, it had a Cat 3208 diesel motor, and while it did consume some fuel, I ran it for over 5800 hours, with only fileter and oild changes, It was an excellent unit, But I do not know if the 2655 was bigger, if it was maybe it was even better! White also offered this sme engine in a turbo-charged unit, and maybe that was the difference?
My 2255 White looked exactly like a 1955 Oliver except it was physically much bigger and was painted red.
