I have an imac and use Apple's free ad blocker. Works great. Some sites detect it and tell me to turn my blocker off to read their news........I just go elsewhere. Their news wasn't of any interest to me anyway....just a headline popped up on Google and I clicked on it. I am on Satellite internet and getting rid of all those nuisances that every supplier thinks they have to have in motion these days, really cuts down on consumed bandwidth that I have to pay for.
