Your SC Case was built in 1940,but were serial numbered as a 1941. Take the first two numbers and subtract four. This is a very early SC,it should have the exhaust come thru the middle of the hood,and early enoungh to be a smooth block [at the base of the block]. These tractors don't show up very often. Production figures for 1941 SC row crops,7540. Roughly 2900 of these were center exhausts,and less than half of that was smooth blocks. Rated hp at the drawbar is 16 hp and ran at a speed of 1550 rpms. Feel free to email or, call 507 433 0073. Rusty Acre ,Austin Mn.
