Never worked on a Leyland of any kind. Friend wants me to help him change the clutch and maybe PTO clutch. He said it can be done without splitting the tractor. I looked at some pictures on the net, but it seems you would have to disassemble the pressure-plate to get it out. Can somebody steer me in the right direction? I thought about just splitting the tractor ,but what I can tell, is that there is a snap-ring on the back-side to be able to get the clutch assembly out. The problem is the tractor will not move no matter what you do. He has the top of the transmission off and he said he can move the back wheels by turning the transmission gears, but nothing is turning from transmission forward. I told him he may have a broken input shaft, he said it's unlikely because the shaft is a real heavy shaft. Did anybody run into that problem on a Leyland 384?
