Can only drive 11 hours a day. Can be on duty that includes driving and all other duties such as; fueling; loading; unloading; staying with a truck while broken down; staying with the truck while a mechanic works on it... ect ect for a total of 14 hours. From the time you first clock in today your 14 hours is counting off no mater what you are doing. If you are not free to walk away and do as you please you are on duty. You can stretch this 14 hours to 16 hours once a week if you return to your home terminal every day. AKA sleep at your home.
You must take a 30 min lunch break all at once before 8 hours of on duty or driving has past. This 30 mins counts toward your 14 hours
