I bought one for the three point hitch 37 years ago that I haven't been able to hurt at all yet. I think the place where I bought it was an Itco store back then. It's a T shaped frame,upside down,with a two inch shaft and two shorter spears at the bottom. I made another one myself using an axle out of an old fire truck. I broke that axle twice,replaced it with the one out of the other side and broke that one twice. I've tried round stock from other things,but there wasn't enough carbon in them or something. They all just bent. I bought a Tarter one time but never used it. The spear looked to be about an inch and a half and it had been bent in a few places already when I got it.
