Joe.........see that little handle under yer right knee? That ain't a "flush" handle, it controls wheather yer in draught (dirt plowing) or virtical fer position control. But to answer yer question, NO you do NOT need to rebuild yer hydraulic pump. Just to be clear, ONLY 4-speed 8N's have the position-or-draft control. The 3-speed 9N and 2N's do NOT have positition control, they are always in draught control.........the amazed Dell
