We were at Renfro Valley last year,talking to a group of folks from Kentucky. One gal was saying that she and her husband had been up along the lakeshore in Michigan and was awed by it's beauty. I told her it's nice over ther for sure,but we like inland in Montcalm County,and that folks call it Mont-Tucky. They were not a happy bunch that I had compared a less than desirable place to live,to Kentucky,even though I tell people not to insult the good people of Kentucky when they use that term.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
