By the looks of my hair it was just before I got out--so Intrepid 1971. I had just got back from a flight off of it. I was never a air crewman but they were taking aircraft 224 on a test flight and they knew I wanted to fly off and land on a carrier so I jumped at the chance. Found a flight suit I fit in to and away I went. If you look in my left hand you will see something blue. This is 1/2 of what breaks when they shoot you off the cat. The plane captain save it for me because he knew it was my first time. I hope I don't get kicked off, but it is called your cherry.
